As a designer, I'm constantly inspired by the world around me.

My home is a full expression of the things that bring me joy and are generally in an ongoing state of flux.

I've just finished my own bathroom renovation and thought I'd share it with you along with some snippets of the rest of the house.

When your furniture is comfort tested by the cats...

The brass rubbing is actually a piece done by my Nan many years ago. Before she passed, she had one of the most substantial collections of rubbings in Essex (UK). I remember as a little girl when she used to take me to the churches and teach me how to do them. You can't rub the brasses anymore so as to preserve the history.

Red is such a beautiful colour to work with and it can evoke so many different emotions depending on its depth and brightness. My white painted floors balance out the depth of colour that I have on the walls.

My linen cupboard was never really big enough for the amount of linen I have.....so the linen went into the wardrobe in the spare room and the space was reclaimed as my bar! Who doesn't need a bit of zebra in their life?

Renovating my bathroom was on my 'to do list' for the longest time as I kept changing my mind on the selections ... then one day I saw this amazing wallpaper by Kerrie Brown Designs and knew I had to have it - suddenly the vision became clear and this, beautiful ones, is the finished product.

The cabinet was custom made by the wonderful Anthony from ACM Joinery. Rocking my eclectic style in every way - this brings me an insane amount of joy.
